This weekend the first round of Czech Nationals took place in HornĂ JelenĂ. Forecast for this weekend was really bad, with rain all weekend long. The electro category race completed with nitro category practise were scheduled on Saturday. I did only a few laps with my XB808E and decided not to participate in this class due to the track being flooded.
On Sunday the weather got better, only cloudy and little bit of sunshine at the end of the day.
Qualification started good for me with 3 wins out of 4runs. Even the track was still muddy, my car felt really good. Cleaning car before each run took a lot of time. In my semi I lead race from start to finish and the same scenario repeated in the finals. I started from pole position and took the win in first Czech national race. Overall it was successful weekend for XRAY taking the whole podium and having 5 cars in the top ten.
